While Mississippi does not have a wastewater certification program, this laboratory has consistently scored over 90% on DMR/QA, WP/QA and WS/QA audits for clients over the past ten years.


Quality Assurance and Quality Control
Bonner Analytical Testing Co. utilizes a rigorous Quality Assurance / Quality Control Program which addresses all aspects of data quality, beginning with sample collection and continuing through final data reduction. Specific aspects of this plan include:

Sample receiving, log-in and storage.

Sample distribution within the laboratory.

Routine calibration checks on analytical equipment.

Documentation of reagents, standards and sample preparation.

Extensive evaluation of quality control standards, as per methodology.

Quarterly and Biannual monitoring of data quality through the use of Performance Evaluation studies.

Documented Standard Operating Procedures for sample receiving, analytical methods, data validation, and corrective action.

Annual In-house audits.

CLP & NELAC certified Quality Assurance Plan (QAP).


Turn-around Time
Routine turn-around time is 10 to 14 days for inorganics, and 2 to 4 weeks for volatiles and semi-volatiles. Most data are reported within 7 days.

EMERGENCY RUSH (0-24 hour turn-around, weekend or holiday) is available at a rate of 2 X the normal charge. RUSH (0-48 hour turn-around) is available at a rate of 1.75 X the normal rate. RUSH (0-72 hour turn-around) is available at a rate of 1.5 X the normal rate.


Sample Archiving
Samples are retained for 30 days. Samples deemed hazardous will be returned to the client, freight collect, or alternately assessed a disposal fee.
